This view shows the hotel in relation to the Gulf of Mexico (top of picture). At this time, no bridge connected Sand Key (upper left) and Clearwater Beach (upper center).

Dining at the Belleview was an elegant affair, and this 1932 Sunday Supper menu boasted such specialties as “Golden Buck Belleview” along with exotic (by today’s tastes) items such as “Broiled Honey Comb Tripe.” Music by the house orchestra often serenaded guests.
